Commissioners

A responsive Alternative Provision partner for schools and local authorities.

MFactor Education manages the delivery framework around the individual placement — from referral and matching through to attendance, reporting, safeguarding oversight and review.

The delivery framework

Clear provision. Clear reporting. Clear next steps.

Thirteen steps that sit around every individual placement.

  1. 1

    Referral review

Referral information is reviewed against what we are able to deliver well.

  2. 2

    Suitability assessment

Educational need, subjects, hours, setting and timetable are assessed.

  3. 3

    Safeguarding review

Safeguarding considerations are reviewed before provision is confirmed.

  4. 4

    Risk assessment

An individual risk assessment covers the learner, setting and delivery model.

  5. 5

    Practitioner matching

A checked practitioner is matched on expertise, profile, location and availability.

  6. 6

    Individual planning

Objectives, curriculum focus, timetable and review points are documented.

  7. 7

    Delivery

Sessions are delivered to the agreed timetable by the matched practitioner.

  8. 8

    Attendance monitoring

Attendance is recorded per session, with escalation where sessions are missed.

  9. 9

    Session reporting

Reports record what was delivered and how the learner engaged.

  10. 10

    Progress tracking

Progress is tracked against objectives and the learner's starting point.

  11. 11

    Quality assurance

Provision is reviewed internally for consistency, safety and educational quality.

  12. 12

    Commissioner review

Scheduled reviews confirm whether the arrangement remains appropriate.

  13. 13

    Next-step planning

Reintegration or next-step options are considered with the commissioner.
